Bhagwant Mann to issue anti-corruption WhatsApp Number next week
New Delhi, March 17 (Delhi Crown): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and his party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday simultaneously announced that on the occasion of Martyrs Day on March 23 a WhatsApp Number will be released on which people of Punjab can send their voice/video recordings of corrupt government employees.
Minutes after Mann tweeted from Punjab about the anti-corruption WhatsApp Number to be announced next week, Kejriwal came live on TV saying – “In our first government which had lasted 49 days, we had also issued a similar number for Delhiites to weed out corruption. That time we had taken strict actions against 32 government employees.”
The Delhi CM further said – “When we wished to continue with that anti-corruption tirade in our next government, the Central Government snatched the Anti-Corruption Unit from us.”
Kejriwal further stated that his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has wowed to make Delhi and Punjab, where the party currently rules, totally corruption-free.
The WhatsApp Number of which people of Punjab will send audios/videos of government employees demanding money will be directly monitored by CM Mann.
