Will focus on Kejriwal’s Model of Governance
New Delhi, April 27 (Delhi Crown): Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi Marlena will be addressing the United Nations General Assembly on the night intervening Wednesday/Thursday (India Time) on the topic “Local and Regional Governments’ Priorities for the New Urban Agenda”.
In her speech she is expected to highlight Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s “Model of Governance” which the AAP has been propagating for quite some time.
She is also expected to put forth the fine points about Kejriwal government’s performance in improving the education and health infrastructure in Delhi over the past eight years.
Atishi is already in New York and is expected to address the UNGA later tonight.
Announcing about her forthcoming speech on Twitter, Atishi this evening said – “As the world prepares for inevitable, increasing urbanisation, the UN General Assembly will be gathering to discuss a ‘New Urban Agenda’; am proud to share that I will be addressing the United Nations General Assembly to share Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi Model of Governance.”
In her second successive tweet, she added – “The Arvind Kejriwal model of governance in Delhi can provide solutions to many challenges faced by cities and countries all over the world. This is the reason why the world stage wants to learn more about the Delhi model!”
