3 girls nabbed for supplying heroin in Southwest Delhi

1263 grams of heroin worth Rs 12 cr recovered

New Delhi, Feb. 3 (Delhi Crown): Three girls, aged between 18 and 27 years, have been nabbed in Southwest Delhi for allegedly being a part of syndicate of supplying heroin.

A total of 1263 grams of heroin worth Rs 12 crore was recovered from their possession.

In a video released by the Dwarka District DCP Shankar Chaudhary one of the them could be heard as saying that they were not aware of the substance recovered from them.

They have been identified as Shivani (18), a resident of Mahavir Enclave, Preeti (18), a resident of Mohan Garden, and Kiran (27), a resident of Om Vihar in Uttam Nagar.

A joint team of Haryana Police and Dwarka District police nabbed the trio from House No. C-5, Bhagwati Garden Extension, near Dwarka Mod.

On seeing the police team they tried to flee but were overpowered by lady police personnel. On checking their purses, polythene containing off-white substance weighing 400 grams was recovered from the possession of Shivani, 424 grams was recovered from the possession of Kiran, and a polythene containing white substance weighing 439 grams was recovered from the possession of Preeti.

The same was later found to be heroin. All three were booked at the Mohan Garden Police Station.
